Faces is a 24x24” acrylic on canvas.

It is the most special painting I have ever created. Agnes Martin said she “was not responsible for the work” I feel that way- I did not create Faces; it came through me. Faces of what? Faces of pain, agony, romance, and death. All show themselves from different angles and perspectives, revealing themselves at different times. I often wonder what they mean and what they are intended to convey. I have pondered them- sometimes, I think they might be the impact of the past, but that doesn’t make sense, as art often doesn’t. Maybe they are lost, souls. When the painting is rotated 90°- I see two bodies standing on a bridge, humans in love on a romantic stroll in the woods.
